Ferreting
For the effective clearance of rabbit from small and large warrens, Landmark Rabbit Management prefer to use the traditional methods of ferrets and nets. This is a highly effective method of rabbit control, that has been tried and tested for centuries.
LRM have been using their own strain of ferrets, which we have bread for over 30 years, for their speed and efficiency for clearing small or large warrens, hedge lines of all occupants.
The advantage of using ferrets over other methods is that non target species * are not harmed in any way. You can virtually guarantee that no rabbits will be left in situ after the ferrets have thoroughly worked the problem area.
Before commencing any rabbit clearing the ferrets are fitted with an electronic locating collar which makes it impossible for the ferret to do go astray.
